Mutton garlic pepper fry


About the recipe:

Mutton garlic pepper fry is a delicious finger licking recipe which goes well with any rice or serves as a sidedish to any flat bread.


  • Mutton – 1 cup
  • Onion sliced – 1/2 cup
  • Garlic cloves – 1/2 cup
  • Cumin seeds – 1 spoon
  • Pepper powder – 1 spoon
  • Chili powder – 1/2 spoon
  • Garam masala – 1/2 spoon
  • Turmeric powder – 1/2 spoon
  • Salt to taste


  • Add oil to a pan, then add cumin seeds and wait till the flavours infuse in the oil.
  • Now add onion and garlic and saute it. Add salt and turmeric and mix well.
  • Add mutton to this and cook it covered in slow flame for twenty minutes.(mix occasionally)
  • After twenty minutes add chili powder, pepper powder and garam masala and fry till the raw small is gone. The onion and garlic should melt and loose it form by now. Mutton garlic pepper fry is ready.
